Home Health Jobs description
Home health care can be defined as the health care provided in the patient's home by healthcare professionals. This consists of nursing and medical care under the supervision of a physician.A clinical manager in the home health care job category supervises his team working at the patient’s home. A clinical manager monitors and evaluates their performance ensuring that they are competent and work in accordance with the program and policies. A home health care nurse functions under the direction of the physician. A home health care nurse should possess a thorough knowledge of the side effects, contraindications, and adverse reactions of all the drugs and parenterel administered and should record and document the patient’s health status on a regular basis. A home health care nurse should be experienced in nursing treatment of acutely and chronically ill patient. A home health homemaker or aide takes care of the elderly, ill, or disabled people. Such positions provide housekeeping services; help the patients perform their basic and daily routine activities such as bathing and dressing; keep daily record of the pulse, temperature, and helps patients perform exercises as advised by the physician. A home health care homemaker or aide also accompanies the patients outside his home as a guide.
