Physical Therapy Jobs description

A physical therapy professional is responsible for reviewing physician’s referral to determine the treatment required, determining insurance authorization before treatment starts, evaluating patients using appropriate tests, developing individual patient treatment goals and activities, instructing and educating patients to perform various physical activities, monitoring effects of treatment at various stages, communicating with medical practitioners to obtain additional information, suggest treatment revisions, instructing patients in continued home treatment plan, ensuring that the patients perform various physical exercises in the correct manner, ensuring zero side effects, and performing various other tasks. A physical therapy professional typically reports to a physical therapy manager.
A physical therapy professional should have a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience in physical therapy may be helpful. Various physical therapy positions are physical therapist, physical therapy technician, physiotherapist and physical therapy assistant.
