PHYSICAL THERAPIST FT Centerville, IA','Full-time','Professional Clinical/Allied Health','Days','Days','80','80','Occasional','Occasional','IOWA-CENTERVILLE-MERCY MEDICAL CENTER','','!*!The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients in need of PT services. The PT must have a broad base of clinical experience and be capable of treating a wide variety of diagnoses and patient ages (pediatric through geriatric). Care is coordinated with the patient’s physician as clinically indicated and with other allied health professionals as necessary.
The PT will also be involved with clinical program development, training of staff, in-service education, and community programs/services as well as other activities as determined by the Director.
Must possess skills necessary to supervise PTA, aide/tech personnel effectively.
Marginal Functions include committee meetings, quality assurance activities, community relations, marketing of services.
','!*!MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Valid Iowa Driver’s/Chauffeurs License required, must meet Mercy’s Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum requirement of B.S. in Physical Therapy from and accredited institution eligible for licensure in Iowa. Some clinical experience would be beneficial.
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
BLS for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of
