PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Administers treatments to patients following an identified treatment plan, determined by the Supervising Therapist, using techniques in a safe and acceptable manner. 2. Follows through with the Home Exercise Program established by supervising Physical Therapist. 3. Documents daily record and flow sheets in a timely manner. 4. Communicates with Physical Therapist in regard to patient treatment and progress. 5. Supervises and communicates with support staff regarding patient care activities to assure safety and well being of patient. Assists technicians, as needed, with patient’s set-ups to assure patient care.','!*!Experience Preferred but not required.
New graduate accepted. Education/Licensure Require a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant School with an associates degree. Must be licensed in the State of Nebraska or Iowa as a PTA. License must be held in the state in which you provide services. BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institute: CPR, PRO, must say “Professional Level-with AED”, and American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.','We’re an equal opportunity employer.
