Physical Therapist Jobs
A physical therapist is responsible for assisting in patient treatment through physical exercises and medication. Specific duties of a physical therapist include reviewing the prescription to make out what treatment is required, determining insurance authorization for the patient, evaluating patients using appropriate tests, designing a patient treatment and physical education plan, educating patients to perform various physical activities, monitoring effects of treatment at various stages, communicating with physicians to obtain additional information, suggesting treatment revisions, ensuring that the patients perform various physical exercises in the correct manner, and performing various other tasks as required. A physical therapist typically reports to a physical therapist manager.
A physical therapist should have a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior experience working as a physical therapist is advantageous. A professional yet friendly demeanor is essential.
