Physical Therapy Director Jobs
A director of physical therapy is someone who possesses a rich experience in the physical therapy domain. Responsibilities include establishing guidelines and procedures that consist of functions and responsibilities of all physical therapy personnel. A director of physical therapy should supervise his staff on a regular basis, evaluate their performance, have written standards of practice and performance criteria, and schedule performance appraisals on basis of the same.
A director of physical therapy should be well aware of the problems of the patients who are admitted, as well as have knowledge of their case history. A director of physical therapy should perform initial evaluation of patient problem and diagnosis for physical therapy. A director of physical therapy should ensure that his team performs work in accordance with safe physical therapy practice. Duties include conducting a timely review of the treatment documentation and progress of the patient and advise change in the line of treatment when needed.
